gingerbread house

we made our first gingerbread house ever!

first, mommy said that daddy was going to put together all the walls.

and he did...

then we were going to use these candies to decorate it.

next, daddy put on the roof

then we followed this pattern to make the roof cool looking...

we went crazy decorating our gingerbread house ...

here it is. almost pau...

isn't it the coolest!?!?

THEN,

a week later...

we ate it!

we think we may have found something to start a tradition with.

we had so much fun.

i just turned five years old.

the day i turned 4 yrs old

my baby sister turned 5 months

our neighborhood festivities started on saturday

with a costume parade down one of our streets

the parade ended at max's house

where we got to play in a big bounce house

here is our whole family after the parade

on halloween night lots of our aunties and uncles

stopped by to help us set up

the hygenist showed me all kinds of gadgets

my dentist ended up being my good friend hudson's mom

i just turned the big 3 yesterday,

and we went out to Elioak's Farm

there was lots of cool things there.

everything is ok. it was funny.

i got invited to his birthday party at clarks elioak farm

we even got to tour the whole farm

July Madness- Part 1 Fireworks

july 4th, independence day

is the day daddy taught me all about fireworks

it was the most awesomeness, explosiveness, i've ever seen

it all started here....

daddy went to china and back

shooting what he calls 'bottle-rockets'

then he showed me all about the 'little poppers'

here we are stomping on them...

pop! pop! pop!

i learned all about sparklers too...

and then later that evening daddy showed me the works

stand back and cover your ears!!

were playing in about 9 inches of snow!

Christmas

ok this story begins on christmas eve.
my mommy and i put together the manger scene.
she told me that tomorrow, 12/25 for all you podagees, is baby Jesus's birthday.

what!?... a manager scene wouldn't be complete without cars

i told mommy that we have a baby for christmas too. baby eke!

another part of the celebration of christmas some how includes this guy named santa.
he is very cool because he is the one who brings gifts we get to open.
i got to see this santa guy on christmas eve.
i was at my neighbors house for some yummy desserts
and all of a sudden he comes in ringing his bells and bearing gifts for us all.
ho man it was unreal!!

moving on. so apparently daddy and i have this tradition for every special occasion...
my daddy hangs me upside down.
i'm not to sure if i like it.
but you might recall seeing another
picture of me upside down on my birthday.

after that was out of the way we got to open gifts!!
i got tons of sweet stuff from killer threads
to cars and even a cool train set.

notice while i opened gifts my braddah eke was chillin in the background...

he watched a bit and then i guess he got bored and fell asleep...
and right when i got to one of the bestest gifts.

daddy built this car for me at this place called ride makerz
when i get older he's gonna take me there so i get to build one too.

although daddy seemed to be having regrets for getting me this gift...
something about having to assemble the "gosh darn beepin beepin thing!"

so every month until I turned 2 yrs old mommy took a picture of me in the rocking chair with my bear to show how much i've grown each month. now the tradition is passed on to my bradda eke. every month mommy will take a new picture and i will post it here on my blog, along with my picture when i was the same age. enjoy!

hey bloggie old pal... i won't bore you with too many excuses of why i haven't updated my blog in awhile. it's only because i have been busy with my new brother, i've been sick with the cold, can't find my red car with the cool racing stripes, and mommy is keeping the mouse and keyboard out of my reach. she said something about me not putting my boogy fingers all over.

anyways... i digress.

i know you want to see more pictures of my new baby brother eke. So without further ado...

daddy said i need to show my bradda the ropes. so i sat him down in front of the christmas tree and had a one on one talk with the boy. told him all i know about life. mostly i told him all the good stuff like wrestling with daddy, playing with cars, and all da kine good food he can eat when his teeth come in.

i look forward to when he can run around with me. but for now i've got to be gentle. daddy says i can't wrestle with him until he can, "put up his dukes".

my papa came in last night.

i got up from my sleep to say "hi" and then i went back to bed.

and at 3:45 am my daddy took mommy off to the hospital.

i think this is the big day for me.

i finally get to be a big brother.

i cant wait to see him.

mostly i cant wait to show him off and to introduce you all to him too.

daddy says it's necessary to hang upside down on your birthday

papa called and sang happy birthday to me

here is the new truck i got from daddy and mommy

and on saturday my mommy and daddy threw me a party at playwise.
we had so much fun.
all kine friends was there.

we played and played

after this next project, my title will change.
i put in a lot of long hours
and hard work for this one
and finally ill be a
BIG BROTHER!

i'll have someone to play with.

and mostly ... i'll have someone to blame.
blaming keiki hasn't gotten me anything.

of course, one thing won't change, i'll still be the boss!

is halloween!!! :)

thursday night at the village center it was a blast.
we got all dressed up and there was a clown doing magic tricks and
then trick or treating through out the village center

october has been a fun month and i hear it's ending soon with a
candy giving holiday called halloween.... yipee!!
did i mention i love candies too?

i've been taking advantage and staying busy in october since my little brother will be arriving next month. don't get me wrong, i am excited to have a new little brother but i'm just not sure yet what it will all mean to me.

anyways back to me and my fun times ...

daddy, mommy, and me took a road trip with the wanless ohana to pennsylvannia.

i got to see big huge trains at the pennsylvannia railroad museum

uhhh.... not sure what that says, i can't quite read yet.
but i've been told i write a fantastic blog!

while up in pennsylvannia we went to this park called
"dutch wonderland"
here i am on some rides...

it's kinda hard to see me over the steering wheel... and as usual, i'm in control!

i still go to school and hang with all my friends too!!
at school this week we got to wear costumes and decorate yummy cookies to eat

i love to hang out with my neighbors.
they are the best neighbors in the whole wide world!
on saturday they threw a party for mommy and daddy...
it has something to do with the baby in mommy's tummy...
but more importantly i got to play with my friends

then on sunday daddy went to the ravens and raiders football game with uncle john.
i stayed home with mommy and we watched the game on tv...
someone had to stay with mommy in case my brother decided to come early.

daddy brought me home the coolest ravens jersey... you're my boy ray ray!

now we chill for about a week until my vovo comes back to visit. she'll be with me for about a month. and i'm sure with her around i'll get tons to write about.

my garage ... i mean bedroom

well, howdy there partner.

i'm finally gettin' around to blogging about my bedroom.

i cant remember if i ever told you about my fascination with cars.
noooooo. not cars the movie.
cars!
like actual vroom vroom cars.
you know ... like the one my daddy always yells at other cars
"the gas pedal is on the right!"
yeah, those cars.
anyways i digress, my mommy and daddy was talking stories
with ron and zach one day and told them about me liking cars.
then zach ran off into their house
and came out with a tub and he gave me
hundreds of hotwheels and matchbox cars. with a cool case and all!
i was near nirvana

then kinda jokingly my daddy told mommy
"lets makes koas room a garage."
my mommy loved the idea and viola ...
heres what i got. so far ....

Punkin Patch Fun

today was sooooo much fun!! mommy and daddy
took me on a hayride and then to a pumpkin farm.
we also meet the moran ohana and wanless ohana there too!
first stop, was a hayride in our neighborhood.

2nd stop was "jumbo's farm" this place is about an hour away in middletown.

we cruised the pumpkin patches and stopped for a group photo

next to my daddy is uncle lee, then uncle brian, and then aunty adrienne.

we also saw lots of farm animals and big old tractors

my first encounter with a horse

the best part was i got to ride a horse for the first time. i was one true 'paniolo' which means hawaiian cowboy. even the cowboys there asked my daddy if i rode before because i was holding the palmo just like one true cowboy. daddy says his papa henry and uncle anthony was horse trainers and great paniolo's so i guess its in my genes and i'm not talking about levi's.

when the ride was pau i neva like let go, daddy had to pull me off in protest

oh yeah and i need to tell you about my new room that daddy and mommy made for me. it looks like a car garage... it's so cool. i'll tell you more about it later. i gotta head off to bed i had a loooong day at the farm and need my beauty rest.
