movies + kick ball = a fantastic weekend

wow blog, my bad.
time keeps whizzing by me and before you
know it i get a nasty reminder that i'm not being a good blogger.

so lets see.

we finally had our movie night.

after three rain delays,
some weird text messaging between my daddy and uncle tim.
and ten lights later.
it went off without a hitch!

we went and played kick ball.

woweeee! wow! wow! wow!

ok, yes... i know it's been awhile since i've filled you in blog.

its just been so busy this past week.

so i'll start you off from last week sunday. that ended up being an uhh-mazingly fun day because i learned another new game called kick ball. A bunch of our neighborhood came out to play.

unlike his daddy, hunter's got a big kick!

blake and i watched mostly from the sidelines... i kept him entertained for awhile


last week monday I went to school for the very first time.

i learned about circle time, sang some new songs, played, had story time,
and made my first piece of art. me and max are classmates too now!!!

here we are ready to get educated. :)

tuesday we got a surprise visit from my uncle johnny. i haven't seen him in months. he moved to california to go to pilot school and then he's been traveling the world helping people.

i missed my uncle jonny.

finally i got it!

then i went to the dr's office with mommy to check on my little brother.
i got to hear his heartbeat. :)
mommy says he's a kicker just like i was in her belly.

got some reading material and a snack while waiting for the dr.

the rest of the week was typical....

i had some play dates,
(like my uncle higgy says "all work and no play makes koa a boring boy")
me blake and max chillin' at the park.

helped daddy get ready for work,
i showed him how to put on shoes. i really think he's starting to lose it a little.

did some work for mommy on the computer,

oh and i even got to visit my daddy at work on thursday. that was really cool because he was working at a church and i got to play the piano for the 1st time ever.

i don't have any pictures of that but just this sunday at our church i saw another piano and mommy snapped some of me playing

and aunty kris taught me some funk

i love playing music! I even played the drums too!

so as you can see i've been real busy and learning a whole lot of new things.
but i'll try to be better at writing. you are always so good to me.

argilan ohana party

yup as previously stated ... we went to uncle john and aunty steph's house for a labor day party.

i love these two!

i have to tell you about the new game i learned... an ultimate frisbee game they call "cups". i grabbed a chair and with a pretzel in hand i watched and studied this new found game

according to my uncle higgy ... basically their is two teams of two players, each team has two poles sticking in the ground with a cup on each pole. i watched as they tried to throw the frisbee between the poles with cups on top to score 2 points. sometimes they knock a cup off that hits the ground and score 1 point. but if the other team catches the cup that got knocked off they get 1 point.

i also learned some basics on how to hold and swing a jumbo tennis racket

i got to meet tons of new friends too! i even got to catch a ride with an older girl ;-)

oh, and i have to tell you about my uncle richard and aunty karen's new baby girl. they just became foster parents to whisper. but their is a good chance that they get to adopt her. i'll be praying they do, cause i got my eye on her... she's a cutie!
